These Internship Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the internship program at Sikdar Technologies Private Limited (“the Company”). By applying for, accepting, or participating in the internship program, you (“Intern”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms.

1. Nature of Internship

• The internship program is designed solely for educational, training, and skill-development purposes.

• The internship does not constitute an offer of employment, nor does completion of the program guarantee a permanent role with the Company.

• The internship is temporary in nature and may be paid or unpaid depending on the Company’s policies and prior agreement.

2. Confidentiality & Data Protection

• Interns shall maintain the strictest confidentiality with respect to all Company and Client information, whether disclosed orally, in writing, or digitally.

• Interns shall not sell, share, distribute, or disclose any Company or Client data to unauthorized parties.

• All Company data (including but not limited to customer records, employee details, intellectual property, financial information, trade secrets, and project documentation) shall be treated as confidential and proprietary.

• Confidentiality obligations shall survive the completion or termination of the internship.

3. Professional Conduct & Workplace Ethics

• Interns must maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and respect toward colleagues, clients, and partners.

• Any form of harassment, discrimination, abusive behavior, or misconduct will result in immediate termination of the internship.

• Interns must adhere to all instructions, codes of conduct, and ethical standards set by the Company.

4. Use of Company Resources

• Company resources, including software, hardware, accounts, credentials, documents, and facilities, shall only be used for internship-related activities.

• Unauthorized use, duplication, modification, or distribution of Company resources is strictly prohibited.

• Interns must exercise reasonable care in handling Company assets and may be held liable for any damage caused by negligence or misuse.

5. Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)

• Any work, project, design, code, invention, or innovation developed during the internship, whether created individually or collaboratively, shall remain the exclusive intellectual property of the Company.

• Interns shall have no ownership rights or claims over such work.

• The Company reserves the right to use, modify, commercialize, or protect such work without additional compensation to the Intern.

6. Data Privacy & Security

• Interns must strictly comply with all data protection policies, cybersecurity protocols, and IT guidelines of the Company.

• Unauthorized access, transmission, or storage of sensitive data is prohibited and may result in disciplinary action or legal proceedings.

• Interns must immediately report any data breach, security incident, or system vulnerability to the Company.

7. Attendance, Punctuality & Commitment

• Interns are expected to maintain regular attendance and adhere to assigned schedules.

• Tasks and deliverables must be completed within the stipulated deadlines.

• Absenteeism, negligence, or prolonged unapproved leave may result in termination of the internship.

8. Termination of Internship

• The Company reserves the right to terminate the internship at any time for:

  • Breach of these Terms

  • Misconduct, negligence, or poor performance

  • Violation of Company policies or applicable laws

• Interns may choose to discontinue their internship by submitting a formal written notice at least 7 days in advance.

9. Non-Disclosure & Non-Compete

• Interns shall not disclose or use confidential information for personal benefit or to the detriment of the Company.

• Interns shall not, during the internship, engage in activities that directly compete with the business of the Company.

• A reasonable non-compete obligation may extend beyond the internship period if agreed upon in writing.

10. Compliance with Laws & Policies

• Interns must comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and Company policies during the internship.

• Any violation of statutory laws (including but not limited to data protection, intellectual property, or anti-harassment laws) will lead to disciplinary and legal consequences.

11. Internship Certificates & Evaluation

• Upon successful completion of the internship and subject to satisfactory performance, the Company may issue an Internship Completion Certificate.

• Certificates will not be issued in cases of misconduct, termination for breach, or unsatisfactory participation.

12. Limitation of Liability

• The Company shall not be liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage incurred by the Intern during the internship, except as required by applicable law.

• Interns are responsible for their own safety, conduct, and well-being during the internship.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

• These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

• Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By applying for, accepting, or participating in the internship program at Sikdar Technologies Private Limited, the Intern acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
